Popular game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati 2" (KBC2) is running out of episodes due to Amitabh Bachchan's illness, but Star India refuses to be bogged down and plans to put everything in place by next week.

The 60th episode of (KBC2) Friday was the second last that Amitabh Bachchan shot as its host before he fell ill. It will be followed by the next show on Jan 13, the last one from the current bank of recorded episodes.

The 'Big B' is expected to be back on the show by February.

Said Deepak Segal, executive vice president (content) of Star India: "We have devised a mix of fresh KBC2 episodes and Hero Honda 12th Annual Star Screen Awards to provide complete entertainment for the next two weekends. After that we are working things out and will have our plan in place by early next week."

Those who missed out on the special episodes with Bollywood stars can catch up with Saif Ali Khan-Preity Zinta, John Abraham-Bipasha Basu and many more in the coming weeks.
